这首德国作曲家舒伯特（Schubert）谱写的《圣母颂》是由帕瓦罗蒂演唱的，与古诺谱写的《圣母颂》一样，歌词是天主教会的圣母祷文。
舒伯特《圣母颂》与古诺《圣母颂》在唱法上有区别，古诺《圣母颂》是平铺直叙地将圣母祷文唱下去，而舒伯特《圣母颂》则是迂回、强调，比如歌中重复了几遍Maria, gratia
plena（玛利亚，你充满圣宠），以突出对圣母的赞颂。但凡以Ave
Maria（即圣母颂）命名的曲子，歌词都是天主教会的圣母祷文，而且都用拉丁文来唱。拉丁文Ave
